2. For single story residential buildings: smoke detector alarms should be installed between corridors, sleeping areas, and living areas. It is best to place it on the ceiling, at least 30 centimeters away from the wall or lighting fixtures.

3. For large or multi story residential units: In addition to the installation location of the single story residential units mentioned above, the bottom of the stairs and the connection of each floor of the stairs should also be added. Also consider purchasing interconnected alarms so that smoke or heat detected on one floor can trigger an alarm for the entire house.

Attention: No matter where the smoke detector alarm is located, it should not be installed above objects that produce steam substances, otherwise you will wait to hear the accidental alarm sound every day.
