Precautions for Safe Use of Spring Gas

Spring is the season for the revival of all things. While we look forward to the beautiful scenery of warm spring and blooming flowers, we should also always pay attention to the following spring gas safety precautions.

1. When using gas, it is necessary to maintain indoor ventilation to avoid poor air circulation and explosion accidents caused by gas leakage.

2. When using the gas, someone should take care of it to prevent the overflow of water, porridge and soup, which can extinguish the flame and cause gas leakage. It is recommended to use gas appliances with flameout protection devices.

3. If the gas appliance fails to ignite continuously, goes out midway, or smells an odor, immediately stop using it, open windows for ventilation, and disperse the leaked gas.

4. Regularly check the gas facilities at home for gas leaks. Soap water can be used to apply to each connection for inspection. If bubbles appear, it indicates a gas leak. It is strictly prohibited to use open flames to check for air leaks.

5. After using gas, before going to bed, and when going out, the main gas valve should be closed.

6. Gas specific rubber hoses are prone to aging, cracking, and gas leakage caused by insect and rodent bites. Regular inspections are required, and they should be replaced every 2 years. The length should not exceed 2 meters, and special clamps should be used to tighten the joints. It is recommended to use stainless steel corrugated hoses.

7. It is recommended to install a gas leak alarm in the kitchen, bathroom, and other living areas where gas is prone to leakage. Once there is a gas leak, the gas leak alarm immediately issues a warning, thus avoiding immeasurable danger.
